With more than thirty years’ experience in public policy and political communications, Joe is a veteran of complex issue management and reaching targeted audiences with specific messages. As an appointee in the Administration of President George H.W. Bush, he oversaw external relations for Federal agencies with combined budgets of almost $2 billion. Likewise, having worked for more than 15 years as both a congressional press assistant and chief of staff, Joe knows first-hand the challenge of communicating with the public through the news media and through the use of a wide range of public relations tools. Since joining the private sector in the mid-1990’s Joe has managed and consulted with numerous issue and political campaigns – local, state and national. In addition, Joe has worked with several corporations and not-for-profit organizations to meet difficult public relations and awareness challenges. His clients, past and present, include Millenniata, Inc., Patients First, DC Vote, Parents for Choice in Education, Ceramatec, and former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson.
