The Carbon Monoxide Mapping Array Pathfinder (COMAP) project is part engineering, part astrophysics: we’re building a state-of-the-art cryogenic receiver to map the early universe using a new technique called Line Intensity Mapping (LIM). In this talk, I’ll share why our work is poised to be a breakthrough for the next generation of experimental cosmology.
